Subscription Terms
What you're agreeing to
When you select Subscribe & Save at checkout, you authorize Ironside to charge your payment method automatically on the cadence you choose, until you cancel. This is a recurring purchase. These Subscription Terms work alongside our Terms of Service, Refund Policy, and Shipping Policy.
Billing cadence
You can subscribe at three intervals:
- Every 30 days — for homes with pets or smokers, or MERV 13+
- Every 60 days — standard residential, MERV 8–11
- Every 90 days — light-use homes, vacation properties
You pick the cadence at checkout. You can change it any time from your account dashboard.
When you are charged
- First charge: at checkout, just like a one-time order.
- Renewal charges: on the renewal date shown on your dashboard (e.g., 60 days after your last shipment date).
- Skipped or paused cycles: no charge until the next active renewal.
We send a reminder email 3 days before each renewal with the renewal date, amount, and a one-click skip link.
How to skip, pause, or cancel
In compliance with the FTC Click-to-Cancel rule and California's Automatic Renewal Law, you can manage your subscription in the same number of clicks as it took to sign up.
To skip the next shipment:
- Log in to your account
- Click "Subscriptions"
- Click "Skip next shipment"
To pause indefinitely:
- Log in to your account
- Click "Subscriptions"
- Click "Pause"
To cancel:
- Log in to your account
- Click "Subscriptions"
- Click "Cancel subscription"
You can also cancel by emailing support@getironside.com with your order number. We confirm cancellation by email within 1 business day.
There is no penalty for skipping, pausing, or canceling. There is no minimum commitment.
What you get as a subscriber
Free shipping on every subscription order, regardless of order size or filter quantity. One filter, six filters, an annual supply — same flat shipping cost on each subscription shipment: zero. This is the core benefit of subscribing. (One-time orders are billed shipping at standard rates — see our Shipping Policy.)
Locked-in pricing. Your subscription rate is set when you first subscribe. If list prices go up, your subscription rate stays the same until you cancel.
Priority replenishment. We ship to your address on your cadence (30/60/90 days) so you never run out, never have to remember to reorder, and never pay shipping on a subscription shipment.
Refunds on subscription shipments
- First shipment: fully refundable within 30 days of delivery if unused.
- Subsequent shipments: refundable only if defective or shipped in error.
To stop a future shipment, cancel before the renewal date. Once a renewal has charged and shipped, the order moves into the standard return process described in our Refund Policy.
Failed payments
If your card declines, we will attempt to retry the charge over the next 3 business days. We will email you each time. If all retries fail, your subscription is paused automatically — no further shipments until you update your card.
Address and product changes
You can change your shipping address, swap filter size, or upgrade/downgrade MERV at any time from your account dashboard. Changes apply to the next renewal.
What happens if Ironside discontinues a size
If we discontinue a filter size in your subscription, we email you 30 days in advance and offer the closest substitute. You may accept the substitute, change to a different size, or cancel without penalty.
Disputes
If you believe a subscription charge was made in error, email support@getironside.com within 60 days. We investigate and refund any charge that does not match the cadence and product you authorized.
Modifications to these terms
We may update these Subscription Terms. Material changes will be emailed to all active subscribers at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued subscription after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
