Accessibility Statement

Our commitment

Ironside is committed to making getironside.com usable by everyone, including people with disabilities. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1, Level AA (WCAG 2.1 AA) across the entire site.

What we have done

  • Designed the site with sufficient color contrast between text and background
  • Added descriptive alt text to product images, infographics, and editorial photography
  • Built navigation that is operable by keyboard alone
  • Used semantic HTML headings so screen readers can announce page structure correctly
  • Sized tap targets to meet the WCAG 2.5.5 minimum on mobile
  • Avoided motion-heavy animations and added respect for prefers-reduced-motion where animations are present
  • Made all interactive elements (buttons, links, form fields) reachable and clearly labeled

What we are still working on

We continue to audit the site as we add features and content. Specific areas under active improvement:

  • Captioning for any future video content
  • Form-error announcement on the contact and account forms
  • Additional descriptive copy under the MERV comparison chart for screen-reader users

Third-party content

Parts of the Site are powered by third-party services (Shopify checkout, review widgets, payment processors). We work with these vendors to confirm their components meet accessibility standards, but we do not directly control their interfaces.

How to report an accessibility issue

If you encounter a barrier on getironside.com — anything that prevents you from finding, reading, or buying — please tell us. We treat accessibility reports as priority issues.

Email support@getironside.com with:

  • The page URL where you ran into the problem
  • A short description of what happened
  • The assistive technology, browser, and operating system you were using, if you can share that

We respond within 1 business day and aim to resolve substantiated issues within 14 days. If a fix takes longer (a third-party vendor dependency, for example), we will keep you updated and provide an alternate way to complete your task — including placing an order by phone or email if needed.

Need to place an order another way?

If you would like to order without using the website, email support@getironside.com with the filter size, MERV rating, and quantity you want, plus a shipping address. We will send a secure payment link or take the order by phone at a scheduled time.

Ongoing review

We audit accessibility annually and after every major site update. This statement was last reviewed on May 20, 2026.
